GO Public Sector Supplier Summit 2014 Preview

Supplier SummitBuilding on the success of last year’s inaugural event, the GO Public Sector Supplier Summit 2014 will open its doors on 29 April in Manchester’s Central Exhibition Centre.

Welcoming public sector suppliers from all walks of life, the event will provide a valuable opportunity to network and absorb advice from senior procurement professionals.

Key public procurement figures in attendance include: Sandra Barrow, Head of Innovation Procurement at the Procurement, Investment and Commercial Division, Department of Health (DH); Gillian Cameron, Head of Marketing and Communications, CompeteFor; Sue Colbeck, Head of Procurement and Supplies at Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Procurement Lead for Liverpool Clinical Laboratories (LCL); Sue Cowsill, Senior Category Lead for Consultancy, Crown Commercial Service; Adrian Davies, Contracting Manager, Crescent Purchasing Consortium; Simon Jones, Senior Category Lead for Professional Services, Crown Commercial Service; Philip Margerison, Defence Suppliers Service – Manager, Ministry of Defence (MOD); Peter Schofield, AGMA Procurement Hub Programme Manager, Trafford Council; David Smith, former Commercial Director at the Department for Work and Pensions; and Grahame Steed, Senior Executive Officer, BiP Solutions.

Mr Steed will open the Summit with the Chairman’s Address at 10am. This will be closely followed by the Keynote Presentation – Increasing Opportunities in the Public Sector.

After this, conference speakers will delve deeper into specific areas of public procurement – covering central government, local government, health and defence – delivering information and advice through presentations and seminars.

Guests will be able to network during the informal lunch and throughout the day at various break zones.
