GO Awards Scotland 2015/16 – it’s time to raise your profile with Scottish public sector buyers!

Free to enter, the Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Scotland 2015/16 recognise that successful public sector procurement depends on the involvement of the private sector.

The GO Awards Scotland celebrate the success of individuals and teams working within procurement, and also those who have dedicated the majority of their career to the procurement profession. GO Awards Scotland

As a private sector organisation, entering the GO Awards Scotland raises your profile with public sector buyers in Scotland, making you more attractive to other buyers.

To reflect this, seven of the ten categories at the 2015/16 Awards are relevant to private sector organisations. These are:

  • GO Sustainability / Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year Award
  • GO Best Service Award (UK suppliers working with the Scottish public sector)
  • GO Procurement Innovation or Initiative of the Year Award – Health and Social Care Organisations
  • GO Procurement Innovation or Initiative of the Year Award – Other Organisations
  • GO Team of the Year Award – Local authorities
  • GO Team of the Year Award – Other Organisations
  • GO Procurement People of Tomorrow Award – sponsored by APS Group Scotland Ltd

Nominations are invited from individuals, teams and organisations across the private sector who are engaged in the supply of products to Scottish public and third sector organisations.

Held on the evening of Procurex Scotland Live 2015 and to be hosted by BBC Scotland’s Catriona Shearer, the Awards will be held on the evening of Tuesday 6 October 2015 at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow.
