Confirming that Procurex South Live 2015 is a premium event is the support coming from the Crown Commercial Service. The CCS is responsible for improving government commercial and procurement activity. It works with departments and organisations across the whole of the public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship and the quality of service delivery is improved. The CCS is a key component in public procurement and its association with Procurex South is a strong endorsement of the event.

The LGA is the national voice of local government and works on behalf of councils to ensure local government has a strong, credible voice within national government. It aims to influence and set the political agenda on the issues that matter to councils so they are able to deliver local solutions to national problems. Like the CCS, the involvement of the LGA highlights Procurex South as a conference of purpose, offering excellent opportunities.

Another official partner of the event is the London Universities Purchasing Consortium. The LUPC is a not-for-profit professional buying organisation owned and run by its membership of universities and further education colleges in London, as well as other national not-for-profit organisations. It works collaboratively with other higher education consortia to tender and manage more than 100 EU-compliant framework agreements for its members to use.

Also partnering with the event is the Central Buying Consortium – the largest local authority purchasing group in the UK. CBC member authorities have a combined revenue purchasing spend of over £5 billion. It is operated by 18 local government authorities, which include some of the largest authorities in the Midlands, South and South East of England, outside of London.

The experienced and dedicated procurement experts at Crescent Purchasing Consortium will also be supporting Procurex South this year. CPC’s main purpose is to produce EU-tendered purchasing frameworks, covering a wide variety of products and services. The not-for-profit organisation offers support and guidance to members who request it.

Procurex South has attracted the support of The Consortium Fire and Rescue, which offers EU-compliant frameworks and tailored procurement support to secure the best value for the public sector. The Consortium is an organisation with exceptional procurement expertise, a highly commercial approach and an absolute commitment to customer service.

Support also comes from the NHS London Procurement Partnership, a membership organisation founded and funded by NHS organisations. Working with its members LPP supports the NHS to make the most of its purchasing power in order to maximise investment in patient care. It does this by helping Trusts to deliver the highest quality services while at the same time ensuring value for money. NHS LPP encourages collaboration among acute, mental health, community and primary care organisations.
