The event will provide those attending with an opportunity to engage with local framework suppliers, non-framework suppliers and leading experts from their region to enhance their procurement knowledge and explore opportunities for collaboration with the public procurement community.

Procurex North Live offers visitors from the public and private sector the chance to understand the challenges facing procurement, hear from experts and learn how to apply new skills within their role.

The event will showcase a range of innovative exhibitors who will all be there to meet face to face with public sector buyers, framework suppliers, non-framework suppliers and speculative suppliers. The Procurex Live events play an essential role in facilitating the delivery of the UK Government’s procurement strategy by providing public sector buyers with a single point of access to existing and aspiring framework and non-framework suppliers.

Procurex North Live has the backing of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), whose staff will be available in the Crown Commercial Service Procurement Pavilion to explore with delegates the opportunities and benefits of working with the CCS. In addition, representatives from leading procurement consortia will be attending the event so that delegates can discuss the possibilities and advantages of collaborative working within both the buyer and supplier communities.

Procurex North Live will also host specially tailored Buyer and Supplier Training Zones, which will deliver free CPD certified procurement-related training sessions. There will be two training zones and they will be hosted by a PASS consultant with a vast knowledge of public procurement and the policies and processes that go with it. The training sessions also focus on legislation and best practice. PASS consultants are experts in their field and help buyers and suppliers alike to tender effectively as well as educating them with overall knowledge of the process.

Procurex North Live boasts a fantastic Keynote Arena with speeches scheduled from a range of experts in the marketplace. In the Keynote Arena, policy makers and leaders will discuss the latest issues in procurement, with special emphasis on the North West, the ‘alpha city’ of Greater Manchester and the role of procurement in economic growth.
