National GO Awards 2015/16 – Meet the 2015 judges

There are now just two weeks left for you to enter the most important procurement awards in the UK – the National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2015/16, which will be hosted by BBC Presenter Beccy Meehan.

Held in association with Procurex Live 2015, the National GO Awards 2015/16, are FREE to enter, open to all types of organisation – public, private and third sector – and offer a platform to highlight those procurement initiatives that are making a real difference to society as a whole.

This is your opportunity to get your work reviewed by leading figures in procurement. Above, you will see a huge endorsement from Sally Collier, Chief Executive Officer at Crown Commercial Services, highlighting how entering the Awards can change lives.

Sally joins an elite group of procurement professionals who make up the 2015/16 judging panel and have the task of deciding which of the many entries that are submitted for each category should go on to be Highly Commended or Winners.

The judges for the 2015/16 Awards are:

  • Eddie Regan, Principal Procurement Consultant at Procurement Advice & Support Service (PASS)
  • Grahame Steed, Lead Judge and Managing Editor, Government Opportunities (GO)
  • Helen Lisle, Incoming Chairperson for HCSA / Associate Director of Procurement, County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust
  • John Tizard, an independent strategic advisor and commentator
  • Alastair Merrill, Director, Procurement and Commercial, Scottish Government
  • Roy Bell, freelance consultant specialising in strategic and business planning with specific interests in procurement and supply chain management
