National GO Awards 2014/15 – Finalists Announced!

Thank you to all who showed an interest in the National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2014/15. The standard of the submissions received was extremely impressive, with many high-profile organisations from across the UK submitting an entry. Each of the hundreds of entries received presented a unique account of the excellent and innovative work which is carried out every day in procurement across the UK.National GO Awards

We are now delighted to reveal that the finalists in each category have been decided. All entries were recently reviewed by a panel of ten judges made up of experts in UK procurement including Sally Collier, the UK Government’s Deputy Chief Procurement Officer and Acting Managing Director of the Government Procurement Service; and Alastair Merrill, Director, Procurement and Commercial, at the Scottish Government. Each finalist will be offered a discounted place at a special rate of £95.00 to attend the GO Awards 2014/15 ceremony to be held on 19 March at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham. A table of ten can also be booked at a cost of £900.00. Alternatively, you may be interested in our new premium tables available at a special rate of £1150.00 which includes a premium location near the stage, five bottles of wine on your table (three white, two red), a professional group photo of your guests and place-name cards branded with your company logo.

To secure your place, please complete the online booking form before 12 March. Places will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Non-finalists are also welcome to attend. The National GO Awards 2014/15 are a fantastic opportunity for you to celebrate the achievements of procurement professionals across the UK and network with delegates from the public and private sector alike.
