Entry Guidelines

  • The GO Awards Scotland are open to all Scottish public and third sector organisations and their representatives; and to private sector organisations engaged in the supply of products and services to such organisations.
  • Entries to be submitted on the official GO Awards Scotland entry forms (PDFs and other document types are not acceptable).
  • A 350 word limit applies to each question. Any text over this amount will not be reviewed. Entrants are advised to answer the questions as succinctly as possible, with focus on tangible achievements.
  • Tables, graphs, charts, diagrams and captioned images may be included in entries and will not be factored into the overall word count.
  • Appendices, brochures and other supporting documentation may not be submitted. Any such items will not be reviewed by the judging panel.
  • Links to websites may be given as a means of providing additional evidence. However, we cannot guarantee that such websites will be visited as part of the judging process – therefore any information deemed essential to the entry must be included within the entry form.
  • Evidence of support for entries to be provided where requested.
  • Entrants must ensure that their entries do not contain commercially sensitive information or infringe the privacy rights of individuals. GO does not accept any liability for any such issues arising from the content of Awards submissions.
  • Entries submitted into the GO Awards Scotland may be used in future promotional activity concerning the Awards. In such instances, the individual submitting the entry will be advised.
  • No correspondence will be entered into regarding entries that are not selected as finalists in the GO Awards Scotland. GO reserves the right not to provide feedback on entries, but may do so upon request for entries that are selected as finalists. In such instances, feedback will be provided after the presentation of the GO Awards Scotland.
