GO Awards Scotland 2015/16 – This year’s esteemed judging panel

There are now just two weeks left for you to enter Scotland’s number one procurement Awards – the Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Scotland 2015/16.

The GO Awards are the glittering climax to Scotland’s Day of Procurement, being held on the evening of Procurex Scotland Live 2015, which takes place on Tuesday 6 October.

FREE to enter, the GO Awards Scotland 2015/16 are open to all types of organisation – public, private and third sector – and offer a platform to highlight those procurement initiatives that are making a real difference to society as a whole.

The Awards are your opportunity to get your work reviewed by leading figures in the world of Scottish procurement. This year’s judges have the difficult task of deciding which of the entries that are submitted for each category should go on to be Highly Commended or Winners.

The judges for this year’s GO Awards Scotland are:

  • Ainslie McLaughlin – Director of Procurement and Commercial, Scottish Government
  • Julie Welsh – Director, Scotland Excel
  • George Sked – Assistant Director of Procurement, The University of Edinburgh
  • Nikki Bell – Head of Scottish Procurement Policy and Strategy, Scottish Government
  • Angus Warren – Chief Executive, Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges
  • Susan Love – Policy Manager, Federation of Small Businesses Scotland
  • Eddie Regan – PASS Principal Procurement Consultant
  • Alison Brown – Associate Director of Business Development, National Procurement
  • Grahame Steed – Managing Editor, Government Opportunities (GO) (Lead Judge)

The GO Awards Scotland will be held on the evening of 6 October 2015 at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow.
