GO Awards Scotland 2015/16 – Submission Timescale

All initiatives for consideration as part of a GO Awards submission must have a start date between February 2013 and August 2014. The start date can either be the contract start date or when the procurement process began.image_4

There are ten categories in the GO Awards Scotland 2015/16, all of which can be viewed here.

As you will no doubt be aware, the GO Awards provide all types of organisation – public, private and third sector – with a platform to promote and share best practice and highlight the initiatives that are making a real difference in this sector, which is currently valued at over £10 billion in Scotland.

The GO Awards Scotland are free to enter, and have a submission deadline of 5pm on Monday 10 August 2015. Your entry will also be reviewed by a judging panel consisting of leading procurement figures in the UK, including Ainslie McLaughlin, Director of Procurement and Commercial at the Scottish Government, and Julie Welsh, Director at Scotland Excel. The finalists for the GO Awards Scotland 2015/16 will be announced in the week commencing 24 August 2015 and Winners and Highly Commended entrants will receive their coveted Awards in front of hundreds of attendees on Tuesday 6 October 2015 at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow. The Awards take place on the evening of Procurex Scotland Live 2015 and will be hosted by BBC Scotland’s Catriona Shearer. Please note, the previous three GO Awards ceremonies have all sold out.
