Thank you to all who showed an interest in the National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2012/13. The standard of the submissions received was highly impressive, each presenting a unique account of the excellent and innovative work which is carried out every day in procurement across the UK.

The finalists in each category have been decided.  All entries were reviewed by a judging panel made up of experts in UK procurement including John Collington, Chief Procurement Officer, Efficiency and Reform Group, Cabinet Office.

Please note that the recipient of the coveted GO Lifetime Achievement Award will be announced at the National GO Awards 2012/13.

 

Each finalist will receive a discounted place of £55 to attend the Awards ceremony held on 13 March 2012 at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel. Additional places are also available to finalists at rate of £95. Should any GO Awards finalists wish to book additional places, they can do so while reserving their discounted place. Please note that all additional places will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis until 2 March 2012.

Non-finalists are also welcome to attend. The National GO Awards 2012/13 is a fantastic opportunity for you to celebrate the achievements of procurement professionals in the UK and network with delegates from the public and private sector alike.

Finalists Certificate Presentation

 

There will also be a finalist certificate presentation taking place ahead of the ceremony at the GO Live Keynote Arena, part of Procurex National 2012. By booking a place at the National GO Awards, finalists will be automatically registered to attend the Procurex event and will have the opportunity to network with the other finalists and also to hear from over 15 influential Keynote participants, including Francis Maude, Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster General. Procurex National 2012 takes place from 13-14 March at the NEC, Birmingham.
