Categories and Criteria

The National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards are unique in recognising the contribution of individuals, teams and organisations across the public, private and third sectors in delivering effective and efficient public services.

Established in 2003, the National GO Awards have become the benchmark by which progress in this sector is measured. Over the years, the National GO Awards have evolved to reflect the changing demands on buyers and suppliers, as well as the increasing expectations of taxpayers and customers of public services. The National GO Awards create a level playing field, rewarding the quality of initiatives and those who deliver them irrespective of the size of the organisations to which they belong.

For buyers and suppliers, the National GO Awards are the ideal platform to raise awareness, share best practice and celebrate achievement in a multibillion-pound sector that impacts upon the lives of everyone in the UK.
