Event Partners – Procurex North Live 2015

Procurex North Live 2015 has attracted powerful support from some of the biggest names in public sector procurement. Government Opportunities

The showcase, to be held at Manchester Central on 26 February, is shaping up to be one of the top events in the procurement conference calendar, if the muscle behind it is anything to judge by.

The official event partners for Procurex North Live 2015 are the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), Local Government Association (LGA), Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC), Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA), North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) and Consortium Procurement. These partners represent an exceptional amount of expertise in procurement both nationally and locally in the north.

The CCS is responsible for improving government commercial and procurement activity and its support of Procurex North is a clear sign that this is an event worth taking notice of. The CCS works with departments and organisations across the whole of the public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship and the quality of service delivery is improved.

Also throwing its weight behind Procurex North is the LGA. The LGA is the national voice of local government and works on behalf of councils to ensure local government has a strong, credible voice within national government. It aims to influence and set the political agenda on the issues that matter to councils so they are able to deliver local solutions to national problems.

The experienced and dedicated procurement experts at CPC will also be supporting Procurex North. CPC’s main purpose is to produce EU-tendered purchasing frameworks, covering a wide variety of products and services.The not-for-profit organisation offers support and guidance to members who request it.

Support for the event also comes from AGMA, whichacts as the voice of the ten local authorities of Greater Manchester. AGMA works in partnership with a wide range of organisations including private, public and voluntary within the city-region and beyond.

Further local support for Procurex North comes from NEPO. The organisation, which was established in 1976, functions to provide collaborative public sector procurement throughout the North East by aggregating contractual requirements and pooling purchasing knowledge and expertise.

Procurex North also welcomes the support of Consortium Procurement, the procurement function of the Northern Housing Consortium which covers the whole of the United Kingdom. Consortium Procurement provides a wide range of housing, property and social related procurement frameworks and solutions.

Procurex North Live 2015 has undoubtedly attracted some big names to the event, and they will all be in Manchester on the day to help deliver an event with exceptional promise.
