Duncan
is a Non Executive Director at BiP Solutions.
Prior to this he was Chief Executive of NHS
PASA, an organisation which he headed since
its creation in 1999. He is a past President
of CIPS and the Health Care Supply Association.
In 2001 CIPS awarded him the Swinbank Medal
for distinguished service to purchasing and
supply. In 2005 Duncan was awarded the prestigious
GO magazine Lifetime Achievement Award, in
recognition of his contribution to the public
procurement profession. |

Ian
Crichton
Chief
Executive, National Services Scotland

Ian’s early career was with the Army;
on leaving, he spent 12 years in a number
of senior management positions within The
Gillette Company in Europe and the USA. He
then became Director of Commercial Operations
at Suunto, a global hi-tech manufacturer based
in Finland. He took up his current post as
Chief Executive of NHS National Services Scotland
in August 2007, having returned to Scotland
to leverage the skills he has amassed over
20 years in the international fast moving
consumer goods sector. Ian is committed to
making a real difference for the NHS, the
broader public sector and ultimately the people
of Scotland. |

Michael
Healey
Executive Director,

Michael
has an impressive track record in supply chain
management and strategic sourcing, having
been Senior Director for Worldwide Strategic
Sourcing and Supply Chain with Motorola. He
has guided National Procurement’s development
and, working with Health Boards, has established
best procurement and the realisation of savings
for frontline care. Michael’s vision
is for National Procurement to be recognised
as a leading procurement organisation within
the public sector and to achieve world-class
levels of performance comparable to leading
private sector organisations. National Procurement
has made significant progress towards reaching
this goal and is already making a positive
contribution to the NHS in Scotland. Michael
is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of
Purchasing and Supply, and is also a Board
Member and Executive Director of NHS National
Services Scotland. |

Owen
Inglis Humphrey
Director of eProcurement
and Systems, National Procurement |
| Owen
joined NHS Scotland in 2006 as part of the
senior management team. In this role he has
been driving the ongoing deployment of the
e-procurement processes used across NHS Scotland's
Health Boards as well as getting to grips
with improving all aspects of the technology
utilised within National Procurement, and
in particular within the recently launched
logistics service. Prior to joining NHS Scotland,
Owen spent a number of years working in BAA,
firstly in strategic sourcing responsible
for areas of IT expenditure before moving
into the field of e-business and managing
the development and deployment of e-procurement
solutions across the whole UK operation. |

Miller

| Jim
has extensive experience in both the private
and public sectors and has held a number of
senior posts in industry, ranging from facilities
management as Director of Procurement with
Sir Alfred McAlpine Business Services to airports
where he spent six years with BAA as Head
of Supply Chain. He is passionate about the
role procurement has to offer in the development
of both business success and public sector
service improvements. A member of the Chartered
Institute of Purchasing and Supply, he also
sits on the Board of the Central College of
Commerce in Glasgow. |

Colin
Sinclair
Logistics Director,
National Procurement |
| Colin
joined National Procurement in 2008 with over
25 years’ experience in the logistics
and supply chain sector within a range of
operations and businesses. His career to date
is balanced between third party logistics
companies and in-house logistics operations
for major PLCs, including Scottish & Newcastle
and Arla Foods. For the last seven years Colin
was Regional Operations Director for a major
UK logistics business which included both
warehouse and transport operations as well
as business development and customer account
management. |
