The Award recognises the transformational role that an individual has made within the business and/or public sector procurement community, and the effort and commitment that they have demonstrated in delivering change within Scotland. The change that they have made may have been as a result of a specific initiative, or as part of their role within an organisation. The individual concerned will be seen as a positive and inspiring example to others.
Open to:
Scottish public and third sector organisations (a public or third sector team can also include a private sector organisation which has contributed to the initiative)
Evidence keywords:
Collaboration, team approach, communication, cross-sector/discipline working, exceptional, measurable results, stakeholder involvement, end-user benefit
Awards:
One winner, up to two highly commended (if merited)
Criteria:
- Please provide an overview of the nominee’s career history within commissioning and/or public procurement in Scotland.
- Please describe the most significant achievements made throughout their career, and how these have had a positive impact on public procurement and public service delivery as a whole.
- Please describe how the nominee has acted as a role model or transformational figure within Scottish public procurement, and further afield.
- Please provide any other information that you believe is supportive of this entry.
