Scotland is a nation renowned for its invention and originality. The GO Innovation or Initiative of the Year Award brings these qualities to the fore, celebrating concepts that have made a genuine difference within Scotland’s commissioning and procurement sector. The premise is simple – the innovation or initiative can come from any quarter, and can be of any scale, but it must be a genuine advancement within commissioning and procurement in Scotland, and compliant with existing procurement legislation.
Open to:
Scottish public and third sector organisations, private sector organisations (with public sector endorsement)
Evidence keywords:
Originality, creativity, measurable benefit, process re-engineering, end-user benefit, significant change
Awards:
One winner, one highly commended (if merited)
Criteria:
- Please describe the innovation or initiative that your organisation has implemented, and the problem or challenge it sought to resolve.
- What aspects of it are particularly imaginative, creative or groundbreaking, and how does it represent real advancement?
- What level of engagement has been achieved with stakeholders in the innovation or initiative?
- What were the expected outcomes, and what success has been achieved to date? Where possible, please provide evidence of targets set and performance or measurable benefits achieved.
- Please provide any other information that you believe is supportive of this entry.
