Thank you to all who showed an interest in the Government Opportunities (GO) magazine Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Scotland 2010-11. The standard of the submissions received was highly impressive, each presenting a unique account of the excellent and innovative work which is carried out every day in procurement across Scotland.
GO Awards Scotland judging panel, the finalists in each category have been decided. With award categories covering Sustainability/Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year, Best Service, John F McClelland Collaborative Procurement Initiative of the Year, Innovation or Initiative of the Year, Best Supplier Engagement Initiative, and Team of the Year, competition has been fierce, and only the very best nominations have achieved finalist status.
Due to the volume and quality of entries into the Innovation or Initiative of the Year Award category, the GO Awards judging panel has decided to split this category into two sections: one for health organisations and one for other organisations, including central and local government bodies, consortia, and third sector enterprises. |
