Affordable homes reach a new height

According to new media reports a new £63m residential scheme by Barratt in Wandsworth, which will feature nearly 90 affordable housing units, has started on site.

The scheme will provide 275 residential units and commercial floor space in eight new buildings.

The buildings will range from two to eight storeys, including a landmark 20 storey residential tower.

The development, a mix of both affordable and private housing, will offer a total of 275 new apartments.

The affordable housing element of the scheme constitutes 33% of the total units, providing 89 units within a self-contained block.

The ground floor will offer business use/studio facilities, gallery space, café facilities and outstanding public realm amenity spaces, establishing an improved environment for the local community.
